Why you need off-grid power

Leave it alone, come back to a full battery. No fuel, no noise, no pull-start.

The things you actually want working out there

  • Starlink and security cameras
  • Lights, phones, laptops
  • Power tools and chargers
  • An electric smoker
  • Vehicle batteries topped off

What a generator costs you

Fuel, noise, service, and someone has to be there to start it. A battery-first system charges through the day and sits quietly until you need it.

The inverter sits behind its own breaker: switch it off when you leave and the panels keep charging, with almost no standby loss.

Standalone, not grid-tied. The system we install is self-contained: panels, battery, charge controller and inverter, feeding their own outlet and light. It does not tie into premises wiring or the electrical utility - no interconnection, no net metering, no connection to your house panel. An interconnected system ties into a building's wiring and the grid; this one runs on its own, which is what makes it work for a shed, a cabin or remote land. It is also the category Utah's solar licensing rules treat separately from an interconnected system, and it is the only kind of power system we install.
